The new 2012 Honda Civic is being referred to as "completely redesigned" and "all new" by the manufacturer. Maybe you've already seen the commericals with the zombie, woodsman, ninja, monster and superhero? Well, clearly Honda is trying to deliver the message that the new Civic models, which include the coupe, sedan, Si, hybrid and HF models, can and will fit every personal style.

According to the manufacturer "The Civic Sedan is a direct descendant of the 1975 Civic CVCC, which was the first vehicle to pass the emissions requirement of the Clean Air Act of 1970 without using a catalytic converter."(source)

The 2012 Civic Sedan gets an estimated 28 city, 39 highway and 32 combined miles per gallon (MPG) for the automatic transmission model.

In terms of the engine, the 2012 Honda Civic Sedan has a 140-hp, 1.8-liter, 16-valve, SOHC i-VTEC^® engine. This engine redesigned and refined for the 2012 model with many friction-reducing and airflow improvements. (source)

All About the Toyota Camry

If you are looking to purchase a Toyota Camry, or own one already, this information could be useful to you.

There is a reason that the Toyota Camry has been one of the best selling cars in America for 13 of the last 14 years.

The Camry was not only one of, but THE Best Selling Car in 2010, according to manfacturer sales data.

Also, 90% of ALL Toyota Camrys sold since 1995 are still on the road today.  

Since it's debut in 1983, the Camry has risen to fame for its quality and durability. The Camry is now available as an LE, SE, XLE and Hybrid. Each of these models possess slightly different interiors, exteriors and engine features.

Regardless of the model you drive or choose to drive, the Camry is a fine Toyota product, built with high quality and safety assurance in mind. 

Models:

The LE is considered the base model. This model does however feature a fair amount of accessories including full power accessories, remote keyless entry system ('11), stability control, power driver seat, 6 speaker audio, cruise control, as well as a 169 horsepower 2.5 liter inline-4 engine. The LE gets an estimated 22/33 MPG. The LE is also available as a 6-speed manual transmission vehicle or as a 3.5 liter V-6 automatic.

The SE is the sporty model. This model features a sport tuned suspension, front and rear underbody spoilers and a 179 horsepower version of the LE engine. The SE gets an estimated 22/33 MPG rating. Just like the LE, the SE is available with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 3.5 liter V6 6 speed automatic transmission.

The XLE is considered the luxury model. Perhaps its the dual zone climate control that makes it more comfortable for drivers? Either way, It also includes 6 CD changer, built in wireless technology options as well as the option for a wood-grain-style trim. With an estimated MPG of 22/32, the XLE delivers in comfort and performance as a 4-door sedan. The engine is the same as the SE model with 179 horsepower. A 3.5 liter, 268 horsepower V6 engine is also available for the SE and XLE models.  

Camry Hybrid

The Camry Hybrid has a 2.4 liter, 4 cylinder engine. This model houses the same interior and exterior features as the other Camry models, with a few extras.

Depending on the model you choose to drive, there are a variety of features available for the exterior, interior and safety components. 

Here is a highlight of most of the exterior features that come standard with the Camry LE:

• Power windows & Power doors
• Optitron meters with speedometer, tachometer, coolant temperature, digital odometer, twin tripmeters with outside temperature and fuel gauges
• Overhead console with maplights and sunglasses holder
• Bi-level covered center console with storage

Vehicle eligibility includes:

•  Under 85,000 miles
•  All sources including trades, off-lease, auctions, purchased
•  Any Toyota models
•  Current model year minus 6 years (ex. a 2005 under 85,000 miles would qualify)

If the car is considered a certified used vehicle, that means it comes with:

• 12 month/12,000 mile comprehensive warranty from the date of purchase
• 7 year/100,000 mile limited power train warranty from date of first use

Also to qualify for the TCUV program, the vehicle must pass a 160 point inspection (or 174 point inspection for Hybrids). This proves that the vehicle is of the best quality and ready for purchase. The inspection includes:

•  131-Checkpoint mechanical inspection to ensure the vehicle is 100% correct
•  29-Point detail and appearance check of exterior, interior, engine & trunk compartment
•  Additional 14 check points exclusive to hybrid vehicles
